Children’s Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry is where the littlest of hearts regularly hear the good news of Jesus Christ in age-appropriate and Bible-centered environments. From singing Scripture and enjoying tasty snacks to Bible lessons and coloring & crafts, our kids love to be here.
WHEN
Sundays | 10:15am
Check-in opens at 10:15am in the Education Building. Children ages 3-7 join the adults for worship until dismissal to the classroom prior to the offering.

Look for the check-in table sign in the courtyard. Our volunteers will help you and your child find the right classroom.

Ages 0 through 7
We currently offer two classrooms: our nursery (0-2’s) and our 3-5’s. Each classroom is adequately staffed to serve our kids!
What to Know Before Sunday

The safety and well-being of every child is our number one priority in this ministry. All of our volunteers are members in good standing at GCMB and have undergone background checks. Classrooms are equipped with first aid and life-saving devices. And our check-in/out procedures ensure your child is always under supervision while in our care.

We currently run two classrooms: our nursery (0-2’s) and our 3-5’s.

Every child must be checked in by a parent or guardian on Sunday morning via our staffed check-in table. If this is your child’s first time in a classroom, you can help us expedite the check-in process by completing the Plan a Visit form and inputting your child’s information.

Our volunteers give their all help each child connect and feel safe in their classroom. But if your child is inconsolable, our volunteers will text you asking you to intervene. Aside from discipline situations, children are always welcome back in the classroom once they’ve settled down.

You are welcome to stay in the classroom for a few minutes to help your child feel comfortable. However, for safety and to help children stay focused, we do not allow parents to remain with their child(ren) in the classroom longer than necessary.

You will have an opportunity at check-in to communicate and note any allergies or special needs to our volunteers. To reduce the risk of allergens in the classroom, we discourage parents from packing special snacks for their children. If your child requires a special snack, we ask that you come and administer the snack outside of the classroom.

Potty training is completely normal, and we’re glad to help. Just let us know at check-in. If your child needs the bathroom or a change of clothes, we’ll call you so you can come and take them. Our nursery team changes diapers as needed.
