Come as you are.
We’d love to meet you.
Sunday worship starts at 10:30 AM at our church on Waring Street in Seaside. Here’s what to expect, how we minister to folks of all ages and backgrounds, and where to park. If you're new to the Peninsula, you're in the right place.

What to Expect
There’s no secret handshake or script you need to know.
We are a family of believers committed to Jesus, and we want to the world to know and worship Him as well.
Our Doors are Open to All .
What to Wear
Wear what is comfortable. You will likely see some people dressed up and others wearing jeans. While we want to give the Lord the honor and reverence than He is due, we recognize that what matters most is our heart posture toward Him, and we want to avoid distracting others from worshipping Him.
On Arrival
Someone from our Welcome Team will greet you at door, hand you a bulletin, and answer any questions you might have. If you’ve filled out the Plan Your Visit form, we’ll have a New Visitor bag for you with resources to help us get to know one another. And if you didn’t fill out the form, that’s alright! Just ask for a New Visitor Bag!
Our Worship Service
We joyfully sing hymns that are old and new. Our pastors lead the service, with members leading in Scripture readings and prayers. Our pastors teach the Bible one verse at a time. We participate in Communion on the first and third Sundays of the month, and celebrate baptism as the occasion arises. Services are roughly 1.5 to 2 hours long.
For Families
Kids are Welcome Here.
Age-appropriate, Gospel-centered Bible lessons for children 0-7 years old.
Our Sunday Morning Children of Grace Ministry is a fun-filled experience packed with singing Scripture (Seeds Kids Worship), games, coloring and crafts, snacks, and age-appropriate, Gospel-centered Bible teaching based on Kevin DeYoung’s The Biggest Story curriculum.
All of our volunteers are members of GCMB, background checked, and held to the highest standard of protecting every child who walks through our doors and faithfully proclaiming Jesus to them every week.
We also recognize the beauty of corporate worship with our kids, so we have committed the last Sunday of every month as a Family Sunday, where children see and hear the adults worshipping Jesus together in the Worship Center.
To make your child’s Sunday morning check-in a breeze, be sure to include your child’s information in the Plan a Visit form!
Students. Families. New Comers.
New to Monterey? you’re not Alone.
Some of us came here for school, some for work, and some on orders. Many of us are still finding our footing. You are welcome at Grace Church Monterey Bay, whatever brought you here.
Students
Coming from California State University Monterey Bay? Or Monterey Peninsula College? We know how difficult it can be to find a church home away from home. We’re committed to helping young adults grow in their walk with the Lord and receive discipling while they are attending to their studies. (Did we mention we also have In’N’Out down the street?)
Military & Military Families
Many of our attendees and members are currently studying at the Defense Language Institute or the Naval Postgraduate School. We recognize the stresses that school can bring, and work diligently to care for our military folks and their families. Though your time here may be short, our desire is to go deep while you’re with us—equipping you to take Christ to the farthest ends of the earth.
New to the Faith
Exploring the Christian faith? No church background? No problem. We explain what we’re doing and why. You don’t have to pretend to have all the answers. We want to come alongside you and answer any questions you may have.
